This April, Care for More Than Just Your Car

Car in Spring

Support Catholic Charities of New York during National Car Care Month

Every April, National Car Care Month reminds us to give attention to the vehicles that keep our lives moving. It’s a time to check the oil, rotate the tires, and ensure our cars are road-ready. But what if this year, car care meant more than just maintenance? What if it meant making a lasting difference in someone’s life?

This April, consider a new kind of care: donating your unused or aging vehicle to support the mission of Catholic Charities of New York.

Whether it’s been sitting unused in your driveway or no longer suits your needs, your vehicle can become a powerful tool for good. Through our trusted partner, CARS (Charitable Adult Rides & Services), your donation is converted into funds that directly support our wide range of programs, including helping immigrants and refugees, supporting mental health services, providing job training and education, assisting seniors and people with disabilities, and empowering at-risk youth across all New York.

A Simple Act of Car Care That Goes Further:

  • Free vehicle towing, in nearly any condition
  • Tax-deductible donation
  • No hassle of selling or trading in your car
  • A meaningful way to put your faith into action

From cars and vans to motorcycles, boats, or even non-running vehicles, your donation helps continue our mission of compassion and dignity for every New Yorker in need.

This National Car Care Month, extend your care beyond the garage.

Give your car a second life and help us continue building a city of hope and help for all New Yorkers.
