NYC Announces Free Summer Meal Program, Beginning June 28

The New York City Department of Education has announced that its breakfast and lunch program will continue this summer.

The summer meals are available to anyone ages 18 and under. Sites include public schools, community pool centers, parks, and food trucks. No registration documentation is required. Find a location near you.

Meals will be provided from Tuesday, June 28, through Friday, Sept. 2. There will be no service on July 4.

Service times at designated public schools will be breakfast, from 8 to 9:15 a.m., and lunch, 11 a.m. to 1:15 p.m. Additional information is available via the Department of Education website.
