All Souls’ Day: Remembering Our Loved Ones in Prayer

All Souls' Day

On November 2, All Souls’ Day, we gather in prayer to commemorate the departed and remember those who have gone before us to their eternal rest. It is a sacred occasion to honor the lives of our loved ones and reflect on the gift of their presence in our lives.

“Blessed are they who mourn, for they will be comforted.” —Matthew 5:4

These words remind us that even in times of grief, we are never alone. Through faith and the support of our community, we find comfort in remembering those we love and entrusting them to God’s eternal care.

Join Us in Prayer

This All Souls’ Day, Catholic Charities of New York invites you to share the names of your departed loved ones so that our community may join you in remembering those you hold dear.
