Lent is a season of special prayer, fasting, and almsgiving that begins on Ash Wednesday and ends at sundown on Holy Thursday. It’s a period of preparation to celebrate the Lord’s Resurrection at Easter. As we pray, we go on a journey, one that brings us closer to Christ and leaves us changed by our encounter with Him.
