When you make a gift in honor of a loved one or family member, we provide a beautiful, emailed thank-you letter. This personalized email features original photography from our programs that serve the New York community, and a note that details the good being done in their name.

Pledges to Catholic Charities allow us to consistently provide help and create hope for at-risk New Yorkers, while also offering you the flexibility to donate over time.

Catholic Charities of New York welcomes gifts, stocks and other securities, and government (including municipal) debt and corporate debt through the Depository Trust Company (DTC). We have an easy mechanism to accept these gifts. For security, settlement and reduced paperwork, electronic transfer through the DTC is preferred. This can be arranged through most brokerage accounts.

In addition to providing help to those in need, a gift of an appreciated investment can have other valuable tax benefits related to capital gains, charitable deductions, and retirement income. Such gifts provide an excellent way to minimize tax liabilities and maximize your philanthropic giving.
