Attend Mass This Weekend or Support Online

This weekend, November 22–23, 2025, Catholic Charities of New York invites you to join us in the Campaign for Help and Hope, an annual tradition that brings our community together to serve our neighbors in need. During all Masses across the Archdiocese of New York, parishioners will have the opportunity during the second collection to support this vital mission of compassion and dignity.

“Catholic Charities provides help and creates hope for hundreds of thousands of New Yorkers in need every year — non-Catholics and Catholics alike,” said J. Antonio Fernández, CEO of Catholic Charities of New York. “Once a year, we have the opportunity to bring that message to all of the parishioners of the Archdiocese of New York. On the weekend before Thanksgiving, we ask for contributions during the second collection to support our work of providing help and creating hope.”

This year, your support is more critical than ever. With rising food prices, the government shutdown, and disruptions of to SNAP benefits, more families in need are turning to Catholic Charities for help.

How We Provide Help

Your gift to Catholic Charities directly supports vulnerable New Yorkers who are struggling with food insecurity, homelessness, unemployment, and other urgent challenges. In the past year, your generosity made the following possible:

10+ million meals served annually to families facing food insecurity
138,000+ families in crisis assisted with resources that help them rebuild their lives
• 99,000+ children and youth supported with programs that build brighter futures
• 16,000+ individuals provided safe shelter and stability
• 4,800+ individuals with disabilities cared for with dignity and compassion

These services — and so many more — reflect the heart of our mission: to provide help and create hope for every neighbor in need.

How You Can Create Hope

Join us this weekend at Mass and support the Campaign for Help and Hope during the second collection. Your generosity ensures that Catholic Charities can continue offering life-changing programs to New Yorkers who need them most.
