Msgr. Kevin Sullivan, Executive Director of Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of New York, noted that Christmas is alive in donors and workers who assist the poor throughout the year.
“For us at Catholic Charities, who serve people of all faiths, it is the inspiration and it is the foundation of the work we do providing help and creating hope,” he said in his annual videotaped Christmas message.
He praised Catholic Charities’ donors and workers for helping to create a better world through acts of generosity.
“We are all called to bring a spirit of hope and joy throughout the year,” he said.
