With profound sadness, Catholic Charities expresses deep solidarity with the people of Israel in the aftermath of the recent violent deadly terrorist attacks.   In such times, our own human words  fall short, so we turn to Psalm 122 with fervor and urgency: 

“Let us fervently pray for the peace of Jerusalem: ‘May those who love you find security within your embrace. May there be an enduring peace within your walls and unwavering security within your citadels.’ For the sake of our brothers, sisters, and friends in Israel, we resoundingly proclaim: ‘May peace eternally reside within you.'”
