Aleksandra is originally from Florida and has been living in New York City since college. Currently, she works for a nonprofit organization and is enrolled in Fordham Graduate School.  She is very familiar with the good work of Catholic Charities New York as she previously interned in the Refugee Resettlement Department.

Aleksandra has only recently taken up running.  Two years ago she had a difficult time running five minutes straight. After a lot of hard work and dedication is ready to take on the New York City Marathon next week. This will be Aleksandra’s first Marathon.
