Your online donation is made through a secure connection and is completely safe. When you submit your donation, a secure link is set up between your browser and our website and an encryption code is requested and received. This protects your information and transaction details.

Requesting donations to Catholic Charities of New York as a way of honoring a passed loved one is a tremendous way of honoring their memory and bringing necessary help to those in need in the name of your loved one. You can make such donations through our donation portal, and selecting “Yes, this is an honor or memorial gift.” From there, you can enter the name of the person you wish to honor, and (if desired) the address of the family and any message you would like included. They will then be sent a tribute notification, telling them that a donation was made in memory of their loved one.

Currently, Catholic Charities of New York is not accepting in-kind gifts. We recommend instead using the directory of New York charities managed by NYC.gov, which lists local charities, what donations they are accepting, and if they can pick up donations on behalf of donors.
