KINGSTON, N.Y. >> Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of New York and ShopRite Supermarkets are teaming up for the Feeding Our Neighbors campaign to replenish food pantries throughout the Archdiocese of New York, which includes Catholic Charities Community Services in Dutchess, Orange, Sullivan, Westchester, and Ulster counties.

ShopRite’s 28 stores in the Hudson Valley are participating in the annual mid-winter drive, coordinating point-of-sale collections through Feb. 4. At checkout, shoppers are being asked to make donations of cash or non-perishable food to the drive.

This is ShopRite’s third year participating in the campaign. In the first two years, ShopRite collected more than $218,000 and 24,000 pounds of non-perishable food from its customers.
