 Services and Programs impacted by Covid-19

In response to the Covid-19 crisis, Catholic Charities Community Services of Rockland County (CCCSR) is limiting in-person services in accordance with CDC, State and Local office guidelines.

Intake and other case management work will be conducted by phone and/or email. In-person services will be by appointment only and as needed.

The Food Pantry will operate during its regular hours but all foods will be prepared and bagged in advance and distributed outside the food pantry building to ensure physical distancing. Operational hours are

  • Tuesdays from 12noon to 2pm,
  • Wednesdays from 5:30pm to 7:30pm and
  • Saturdays from 8:00am to 10:00am

Additionally, Immigrant services are still available. Anyone in need of immigration services should call 845-288-2662 and leave a message. You can also email CCCSR also continues to operate the New Americans Hotline.

Anyone with urgent immigration needs should call the Hotline at 800-566-7636.


Catholic Charities Community Services of Rockland has operated for 25 years. The people they help come to them with issues like eviction, rent and utilities assistance, job loss or food insecurity.

CCCSR provides quality human services to any resident of Rockland County who needs it, regardless of religion. They are committed to making sure the needy and vulnerable in Rockland have access to basic necessities – food, shelter, and emergency assistance in times of crisis.
