Job Description

Job Title: Regional Supervisor, Sullivan County 

FLSA Status: Full Time - Exempt 

Department: Case Management 

Reports to: Director of Human & Social Services

Supervisory Responsibilities: Yes

Summary: This position supervises the daily activities of the Case Management and Hilldale Shelter Programs in Sullivan County. He/she oversees activities to ensure that the needs of vulnerable populations in our local communities are being served by Catholic Charities. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 


  • Responsible for all data collection (weekly/monthly staff reports)
  • Prepare monthly statistical report for DOE
  • Collect attendance sheets for workshops and special events
  • Create and maintain students files
  • Responsible for clerical duties (answering phone, mailing, sorting, copies)
  • Greet and welcome all visitors to the program office
  • Responsible for staff and intern’s timesheets creation and timely submission
  • Supplies and equipment inventory and usage monitoring and reordering
  • Create, submit, track Approval For Payment (AFP) forms
  • Assist outreach, recruitment and admissions of new students
  • Manage the Open House requisition list (follow up phone, re-schedule appointments, others)
  • Assist in the admission process: Open houses/intake appointment requisition, candidate orientation, parents’ orientation, tracking system, and others
  • Support all LTW special events & activities (Trip, cultural, recreational, community services events)
  • Support all senior activities/events (Yearbook, school dance, others), as needed
  • Support student daily entry, as needed

The demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

  • To conduct home visits and outreach within NYC at least 50% of the time, individuals will use public transportation or traverse city streets, occasionally ascend/descend stairs, and be exposed to outside weather conditions. 
  • Ability to work with the public. 
  • Ability to position boxes/items at different levels that weigh up to 25 lbs. 
  • Remain stationary at a work station and use a computer at least 50% of the time. 
  • Potential to carry a laptop to offsite work locations. 


Education and/or experience:

  • College degree and/or at least five years of supervisory experience in a Human Services or Not-for-Profit organization

Skills, Licenses, and/or competencies: 

  • Knowledge of Sullivan County social service delivery systems,
  • Excellent organizational and administrative skills
  • Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal and listening skills.
  • Ability to be a team player and motivate others to do the same.
  • Ability to supervise staff at remote locations.
