Summary: The Program Data Analyst will serve a key role in the implementation of performance metrics used to review program effectiveness. The Program Data Analyst will support the collection and analysis of program related data and assist in the development of proposals, reports and evaluation plans for program related initiatives.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Support the design and implementation of appropriate performance measurement plans to monitor and evaluate program impact.
  • Perform quantitative and qualitative data analysis.
  • Perform quality control checks of program data on a regular basis to ensure data integrity and quality.
  • Train program staff as necessary on program data activities.
  • Assist in preparation of data reports as well as conduct ad hoc reporting.
  • Create data visualizations to communicate programmatic and organizational impact.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are generally 9:00 AM to 5 PM Monday - Friday.

Additional hours may be required to meet department and Agency deadlines.

  • Work is performed in a typical business office environment requiring walking, sitting and standing.
  • Prolong periods of sitting at a desk, working on a computer, and using a phone.


Education and/or experience required:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (i.e.: psychology, statistics, data science, health informatics, public health) required.
  • 1-3 years of experience in manipulating large data sets for analysis and interpretation.

Skills, Licenses, and/or competencies required:

  • Microsoft Office proficiency with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (i.e.: formulas/functions, automation).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on the ability to present data in a clear, concise, and accessible manner.
  • Salesforce knowledge preferred, but not required (i.e.: experience building reports and dashboards).
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Experience with data visualization tools and techniques.
