Dear Friend,

  • 17.7 million households in the U.S. struggle with hunger
  • 3.2 million kids live in these households

Will you help to reduce hunger by writing a letter to Senator Kirsten Gillibrand encouraging her to continue leading efforts to support the federal child nutrition programs? These programs provide school breakfast, lunch, summer meals, and WIC that low-income children and families rely on.

Catholic Charities NY and Bread for the World are partnering to engage individuals to support our nationwide Offering of Letters: Feed Our Children campaign. 1 in 5 children in the U.S. live in households that struggle with hunger.

Citizens here in New York are writing letters toward our common goal to end hunger and we need your help! Please write by Monday, September 21 at this link. Your letters will then be delivered to Senator Gillibrand.

Forward this message on to family, friends, and your networks.

Thank you for your support.
