Meet Kristen, a member of Team Catholic Charities 2019

Catholic Charities shines spotlight on Kristen Guyler, a college graduate who is prepping for the upcoming NYC 2019 Marathon:

As I recently graduated from Wake Forest University in May 2019 and officially relocated to New York City to work at HSBC Private Bank, I was looking for an opportunity to continue my running career in NYC. I began to run my freshman year of college, when I decided to run my first marathon—the All American Marathon in Fayetteville, North Carolina. Since 2015, I have also ran the Marine Corps Marathon and 5 half marathons throughout North Carolina. As I grew up in New Jersey and have become an avid runner, I am excited to now run a marathon in my favorite city.

I am thrilled to run for Catholic Charities of NY on November 3, 2019. From my work with the Monmouth County Board of Catholic Charities in New Jersey, I have been fortunate to be apart of, and to witness, the impact Catholic Charities has on the most vulnerable people in our local communities. Whether providing children with afterschool programs, counsellors for individuals and families, or affordable/transitional housing for families, Catholic Charities is always there to help.

By running with Catholic Charities, I will be able to raise money that will be used to support this notable organization and its various important programs.
