Make #GivingTuesday Count Locally, Here in New York

Our #GivingTuesday goal is within reach. Will you help?

Today, Giving Tuesday 2018, please help us reach our goal of raising $24,000 in just 24 hours for your local New York neighbors! We’re so close, but we need your support in order to get there.

This season is a difficult time for the poor and vulnerable in our communities.  Many of our neighbors have to work on and through the holidays just to make ends meet, to scrape together rent, provide warm clothes for the children and put a little food on the table.

Don’t forget — Catholic Charities always puts supporter contributions to work in our local communities, so you can be proud that your gift is going to serve your neighbors in need.

This time of year, I’m reminded of the wisdom of St. Francis of Assisi, who said

“Where there is charity and wisdom, there is neither fear nor ignorance.”

That rings true today more than ever. Imagine the joy you’ll feel, knowing you helped provide shelter from the cold or warm clothes and comforting meals for your less fortunate neighbors.

Make this #GivingTuesday count — and help us raise $24,000 in 24 hours. I have faith that, together, we can achieve our goal.

Please join us in celebrating this day of giving.
