Antonia Watson Shares What’s Powering Her Run for Team Catholic Charities NY

Welcome to today’s update from Team Catholic Charities NY, our team running the26-mile TCS New York City Marathon 2017, the largest marathon in the greatest city ever!  Each teammate has her own reasons for running.  Each finds her own balance between fun, fitness and, most important, raising funds for those we serve at Catholic Charities.  Let’s hear what’s powering Antonia Watson’s run now:

By Antonia Watson

I am excited to run the New York City Marathon with Team Catholic Charities this upcoming November. I'm honored to support the Catholic Charities because of their involvement in the New York City community and their commitment to providing aid for children, the elderly, the hungry, and many more.

My family and I have always understood the importance of being charitable and giving back to the community. We have been involved both in Catholic Charities and other non-profit organizations as benefactors, fundraisers and volunteers for generations.

I am a prominent landlord and real estate investor, as well as a senior real estate broker. The real estate sales team which I founded, Watson International, operates as a private client division of Corcoran Group Real Estate.

Similar to the passion for my career, I am also dedicated and driven as a runner. Prior to training for the New York City Marathon, I raced in several half marathons and have always maintained the goal of one day running in this particular marathon. I look forward to achieving this lifelong goal come November 5th, 2017.

Through hard work and generous donations, Catholics Charities will continue to impact lives as they have done for the last 100 years. Join me in supporting this noble cause and together, we can make a difference.

Cheer and support Antonia’s run!
