Catholic Charities Staten Island Hosts Drive-In Movie Nights

Looking for a night out at the movies, but all theaters are closed? Catholic Charities of Staten Island, part of the Catholic Charities of New York family, is hosting, “Drive in Movies at The Mount.” Beginning Thursday, movie lovers can practice safe social distancing from the comfort of their cars at Mount Loretto in Pleasant Plains, SI. The drive-in movies will be held in the CYO parking lot, 6541 Hyland Boulevard.

Co-sponsored by Staten Island University Hospital and Borough President James Oddo, “Toy Story 4” leads the line-up at the drive-in on Thursday, June 11th and Friday, June 12th. “Ralph Breaks the Internet” is the feature for Friday, June 19th and Saturday June 20th.  

Online tickets are $30 per vehicle and all proceeds will benefit Catholic Charities of Staten Island. To ensure safe social distancing, there are designated spaces for up to 60 vehicles. You will be asked to select your parking space at the time of your purchase. Catholic Charities of Staten Island kindly requests that minivans, trucks, SUVs not select rows 1, 2, or 3 to maintain optimal viewing for all guests. Concessions by Teps Truck Treats will be available and guests will be called by row should they wish to purchase food and drinks. Restrooms will also be available.
