Are you an attorney looking to brush up on humanitarian and family-based immigration?

  • Sign up for our FREE Training Opportunity for Community Legal Clinic Volunteers!

Announcing a Free Community Legal Clinic training on Screening Scenarios at Community Immigration Clinics.

It will prepare attorneys for pro bono volunteering at community clinics.  Subjects include

  • Asylum
  • U/T/VAWA, naturalization
  • Common crim-imm scenarios
  • Family-based immigration

Presenters include

  • Volunteer for Our Catholic Charities NY Community Legal Clinics in Kingston and Poughkeepsie

FREE training will be provided in advance via webinar.

Dedicated and personable volunteers are needed for:

  • Information gathering
  • Legal screenings
  • Application assistance

You will meet with:

  • Prospective clients
  • Gather information about their journey to the United States & life histories
  • Work with Catholic Charities attorneys to inform immigrants about their rights and legal options.

When and Where:

Volunteer in Kingston

Volunteer in Poughkeepsie

Spanish Fluency not required, but preferred.
