Reports To: Division Director, Community Outreach Services 

Summary: The Data and Project Manager serves as coordinator for selected initiatives related to sustaining and reporting on the agency’s programs, performance outcomes, and funding. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. 


1. Take the lead in developing and maintaining all data collection and reporting protocols and procedures for the Community Outreach Services Division programs as well as other agency programs, including Board of Directors, Advisory Boards and other management reports; track and monitor data related to program outcomes. 

2. Take primary responsibility for the administration and ongoing operations of the Outcomes software and training of staff throughout the agency, including the Hudson Valley; 

3. Play a lead role in the planning for a new agency database and other technology projects to support and track the work of the agency. 

4. Work with department directors and other staff to set up and maintain tracking and reporting systems for performance metrics and expenditures as needed. 

5. In conjunction with the Director of Special Projects, participate in the design and completion of research and program evaluation projects and activities, including consumer satisfaction surveys; analyze data and prepare reports. 


Special Projects: 

6. Assist the COS Division Director with the planning, implementation, scheduling, and execution of special projects. 

7. Work with agency personnel including Senior Management, HR, Fiscal, Facilities, Contracts Management, Development, Agency Relations and other CCCS Divisions on various assignments. 

8. Plan, prepare, execute and monitor the timeline for initiatives and/or special events as assigned. 

9. Develop project plans, handle logistics, assign tasks, and measure project outcomes. 

10. Provide clear communication with all stakeholders to keep them informed of developments. 

11. Facilitate meetings to engage in discussion and idea sharing regarding project objective(s). 



Education and/or experience required: 

  •  A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required. 
  •  A Masters Degree in Social Work, Business Administration, Public Administration, or a related human services or administrative field preferred. 
  •  At least four years of experience in program administration, project management, policy analysis and planning. 
  • Detailed knowledge of database management, public funding, contract compliance and monitoring of program outcomes required. 


Skills, Licenses, and/or competencies required: 

  •  Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills, both written and verbal, required. 
  •  Facility with managing large data sets in Excel required. 
  •  Extensive experience with database management required. 
  •  Ability to manage various tasks and assignments 
  •  Good team player, creative thinker, and able to work with various populations 
  •  Good troubleshooting and negotiating skills required. 
  •  Must be detail-oriented and possess strong research and analytical skills. 
  •  Ability to form and work within teams, as well as work independently. 
  •  Ability to travel to all agency offices including those in the Hudson Valley.
